  Purchased a 04 Explorer, day after it started falling apart, transmission would not shift into gear, grinds when turning, no rear seat belts. Grinding brakes after a few days. Differential is going out. Put 1000 down on this piece of junk. Needs a ca for my family and to get to work. Called several times to let them know how bad this truck was, my "test drive" was all of three blocks. They never made an effort to reply back on my complaints. When I finally got ahold of someone they told me they could check prices for all the repairs but needed payments first and would do a side note to pay the repairs. I made I clear I wanted half my money back and they refused. Asked to speak to the owner, they refused to allow me to talk to him. They tried to tell me I signed a as is paper, I never signed it, any alleged signature on that form is a forgery. I made it clear to these people I need a car for my family, they sold me a car with no seat belts and all the rear tire lug nuts were loose. These are the types of people who define scumbag carlots. Stay away from this place, the cars they sell are trash. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and will be filing a lawsuit by weeks end. Normally I'd chalk this all up as lesson learned but when a carlot sells you a car with no seat belts and loose lug nuts that's a huge problem. Stay away from these scumbags.
